OA research reaches the interested public

In the December 31 issue of Evidence in Motion, Deydre Teyhen summarizes an OA article on a 14-year longitudinal study of aerobic exercise. The article was published in BioMed Central's Arthritis Research & Therapy, but Teyhen learned about it from the February 2006 issue of Runner's World. She notes:
It is really exciting to see how open access journals are allowing research to trickle down faster to magazines meant for the general population...Very exciting!
