The Yale Information Society Project is sponsoring a writing competition in connection with its Conference on Access to Knowledge
(New Haven, April 21-23, 2006). Authors of the top three submissions will be invited to present their papers at the conference and to publish them in a special issue of the International Journal of Communications Law & Policy devoted to Access to Knowledge. The submission deadline is February 15, 2006.

I recommend the OA tracking project (OATP) as the best way to stay on top of new OA developments. You can read the OATP feed on a blog-like web page or subscribe to it by RSS, email, or Twitter. You can also help build the feed by tagging new developments you encounter.
