I only wish that we had [OA] sources like this when I was in college. One good thing about these "open access" sources is that even those who do not have access to a college's resources can do research. I have done just a few searches through OAIster, but I think there are some "pearls" to be found as they say.

I recommend the OA tracking project (OATP) as the best way to stay on top of new OA developments. You can read the OATP feed on a blog-like web page or subscribe to it by RSS, email, or Twitter. You can also help build the feed by tagging new developments you encounter.
