Cheryl L. Davis and Barbara B. Moran, Preparing Tomorrow's Professionals: LIS Schools and Scholarly Communication, College & Research Libraries News, January 2005. Excerpt: 'Today's LIS (Library and Information Science) graduates will enter a work world transformed by the revolution in scholarly communication. They must wrestle with copyright issues and the implications of developing institutional repositories.'
