Frontiers in Zoology emphasizes a "... renaissance of integrative zoology as a modern and vigorous field of research...."
All BioMed Central Open Access journals address the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) concept through permanent archiving arrangements with PubMed Central, at the University of Potsdam
in Germany, at INIST in France and in e-Depot, the National Library of the Netherlands' digital archive.
