Excerpt: "Richard Roberts, a Senior Editor for NAR and a past Nobel Prize winner, said 'Open Access is the future of scientific publication and one that we should all work hard to make successful.' BioMed Central salutes Nucleic Acids Research, its Editors and its publisher Oxford University Press for making the journal a fully Open Access publication. We hope many other publishers and journals will follow the example of Nucleic Acids Research and Oxford University Press."

I recommend the OA tracking project (OATP) as the best way to stay on top of new OA developments. You can read the OATP feed on a blog-like web page or subscribe to it by RSS, email, or Twitter. You can also help build the feed by tagging new developments you encounter.
