On May 10, 2002, Capt. Williama F. McMillian (Uncle Mac), US Marine Corps, (Retired) commissioned his granddaugher, Ensign Angela R. McMillian, US Navy.
Angela is David Paul McMillian's second daughter. "Angie" received the American Defense Medal from her commanding officer after having been delivered the oath of office by her grandfather. She graduated cumma sum laude from Purdue.
