Residential Friendship House Application

The friendship houses were established to allow students to form an intentional community based upon concepts and values of friendship, community, and service. While residential theme houses were established to be more structured and have greater permanence; the friendship house program was established to be more flexible and recognize changing student interests. It recognizes that issues and concerns of our community change and evolve over time. With every new class of students, the issues of concern and conscience within our community can change and evolve, and thus a framework was established to empower our students.
To understand the framework from which reviewers will approach the review process, please review Earlham College: Principles and Practice available online at http://legacy.earlham.edu/policies/principles.html .
