PSA MEMBERSHIP

Membership is for programs as well as individuals. All programs and persons involved in the teaching and study of peace, conflict, justice and global security are invited to join.

Undergraduate program membership is for programs that:

  1. offer majors, minors, concentrations or certificates in peace studies and related areas, or
  2. offer courses in these fields and extra-curricular activities, or
  3. are in the process of curriculum development.

Graduate program membership is for programs that:

  1. offer degrees in peace studies and related fields, or
  2. offer emphases and concentrations in peace studies and related fields or offer peace studies in their curriculum and research but grant degrees in other disciplines, or
  3. are professional degree programs in areas such as law, theology and counseling that draw on peace studies and conflict resolution.

Research Programs, Centers or Institutes are invited to join if they meet the above criteria for graduate programs and are formally affiliated with an accredited college or university.

Individuals who are faculty, students, administrators, and others who are professionally active in peace studies and related fields may join as individual members.

Members are encouraged to participate in achieving the Purpose of The Peace Studies Association. Members are sought for PSA projects, committees of the Board of Directors and participation in the annual business meeting of the association.
