A new study from KPMG argues that the content industry should focus on developing new business models rather than locking up intellectual property. While it is fighting (and losing) the wrong battle, it is losing billions in revenue. "Rather than embracing the Internet as an inexpensive means of delivering top-quality creative content to the consumer in a highly customized format, industry executives remain mesmerized by the destructive potential of online piracy."
