I recd. by last mail thy letter which as far as it went was satisfactory but should be glad to know what sum thee sent by Benja. Thomas as also what amount of Interest was Recd. on all my money thee Collected as it was the whole on Interest which put in thy hands I have not let any person know of the letter I have Just Recd. and wish to keep it untill I get an answer to this--thy Old Uncle is as well perhaps as Ever. the See him that is hearty Except at times troubled with Water [Brakes ?] quite Clearly the rest of us are well only one of the children has an attack of Disentary which is prevalent here away. I dont know any particular complaint amongst our relation Except Jacobs Daughter Rhoda who has for Nearly year past being troubled with a pulmonary Complaint I hear she is mending and hopes Entertained of her recovery to [return?] Thomas Flanner has Just returnd. from philadelphia they say an accomplished physican he has his office at St [Clairsville?] 10 miles from this--since being there his father in another of his whims has_____ day ago gone there with his _______ part of his family. I _______ anybody hardly knew of it or Expected it untill we hea[r]d he was gone his boys has raised a fine Crop but as usual he has left it __ them how long he means to stay I have not heard
is william [madder?] living B Jordon B Whilfield or any other of my old Friends in thy knowledge
