Merle L. Davis (1893-1973) was a Quaker minister, educator, and missionary in Cuba and Indiana, who from 1936 to 1954 served as administrative secretary of the American Friends Board of Missions of the Five Years Meeting. The collection contains significant correspondence, reports, and other documents for the history of the Five Years Meeting and Friends in Cuba and Kenya. Finding aid.

The Dickinson Family Papers consist of correspondence and other papers of the family of Henry Dickinson (1812-1908), his wife Ruthanna (Powell) Dickinson (1815-1872), and their daughter Esther (Dickinson) Halstead (1856-1938), Hicksite Friends of Dutchess and Westchester counties, New York. Marjorie Diebel was a genealogist of Cincinnati, Ohio. This collection, on family sheets and 3 by 5 cards, consists of information on her Quaker ancestors in New England, the Delaware Valley, Virginia, North Carolina, and Ohio. Gift of Marjorie Diebel, 1994.
This collection consists of correspondence among the six children of Abel Doan (1843-1915) and his wife Phebe (Lindley) Doan (1847-1936) of Westfield, Ind. The collection, not yet completely processed, dates from ca. 1890 to ca. 1960, and reflects the careers of the Doan children and their activities as Quakers.
Asa Douglas (1776-1855) was an Orthodox Friend who lived in the vicinity of Rochester, New York. This collection consists of memoranda in diary form, 1818-1819, and a letter to Emmer Bowen, 1822.
John Henry Douglas (1832-1917) was a well-known Quaker minister and revivalist in Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Oregon, and California. This collection consists of two letters, 1901 and 1913, to Rufus M. Jones. Photocopies of originals at Haverford College.
Elizabeth Drinker (1737-1794) was a Philadelphia Friend, recorded a minister in 1776, who died on a visit to England in 1794. This collection consists of a memorial of Gracechurch Street Monthly Meeting.
The Good Templars were and international fraternal and temperance organization, dedicated to elimination of the evils of alcohol through total abstinence. This record book included the names of members and minutes of weekly meetings. Donation, 1992.
