Local Mental Health Resources

If you are student looking for a counselor or therapist in the Richmond area there are a number of resources available. Some of them are not very far from campus. Most providers in the area accept insurance, and some of them have sliding scales with reduced fees or do not charge for people who have limited financial resources.

Earlham College's Counseling Services office has a web page that lists a number of local providers (both individuals and clinics). I am not personally familiar with all of these providers, but if you would like to talk with me about the providers I do know, or about other issues related to finding a counselor or psychotherapist in this area, I would be happy to do so.
