What do we accomplish?

The value of an Earlham degree and the College's success at accomplishing its mission is demonstrated in many ways. First, Earlham has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since 1913. Second, Earlham graduates are well prepared for graduate study, and the College ranks highly among institutions of higher learning in the percentage of graduates who go on to receive Ph.D.s. Third, the College is among the nation's top schools in the production of Fulbright Scholars; our graduates' success also is reflected in their selection for competitive fellowships and scholarships for post-graduate study. Fourth, Earlham continuously assesses its performance and documents its accomplishments and challenges. Finally, support received annually from foundations and granting agencies demonstrates their confidence in the scholarship of Earlham's faculty and the College's academic reputation. Further information of Earlham's accomplishments are displayed separately in the section "What are our students learning?"
