Ferit Güven

I am an associate professor of philosophy at Earlham College.

I received my MA. and Ph.D. from the philosophy department, of DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois.

My BA is from the political science department of Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Türkiye.

My area(s) of specialization: Social and Political Philosophy, 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy and Postcolonial Theory.

My book Madness and Death in Philosophy was published by SUNY Press in March 2005.
