Hello everyone!

Last wednesday Cathy, Dot, Emily, Juliette and I met at the same 8pm time.

Housekeepers have been meeting on the heart every day at 11:50 am just after their lunch break for visability as well as for proof that they are not passive members in the decision making process at Earlham. You can show your support by standing with them in solidarity at this time.

We discussed what steps should be taken for alumni involvement. Mike Ford, who has been keeping in touch with an activist alumni by the name of Bryan McKnight (not the singer) suggested getting a copy of the petition to alumni as well as parents. McKnight has also been keeping intouch with certain housekeepers as well.

We also discussed the necessity of faculty support. Johnathan Diskin as well as Steve Butler have experessed sympathy. Steve Butler suggested a petition for Faculty as well. Monteze Snyder is gathering information on the different contractors. If you have any information feel free to contact her. Her office is on the second floor in LBC.

We have begun to discuss plans for Alumni Weekend. We plan to hand out flyers explaining the situationt that is going on as well as have more petitions for people to sign. Another meeting was held Friday to make further plans. If you have any questions or would like to get more involved, just hit reply.

Have a good weekend and stay involved in your community!

in solidarity,
Lydia
