Sophia has become a starter this year, improving greatly in her skills. As a mid fielder Sophia does a great job supporting the forward line and should contribute a lot to the team this year.

Hobbies: Sophia enjoys drawing, fashion design, music, just about anything! She hopes to one day go bunji jumping, ski diving, white water rafting, or mountain climbing.

Extra Curricular Activities: Track, club Lacrosse, SEL (deals with the spanish speaking community), BLAC, Bonner program, volunteer at HELP Animal Shelter, Girls Incorporated, America Reads program, Gospel Revelations.

Why I chose Earlham: "At Earlham I felt comfortable as soon as I visited. Indiana has become a second home and my friends another family. Earlham has great academics with lots of one to one help and a good, small community."

Favorite field hockey memory: "Coming out to preseason my first year and having no prior experience I had no idea what to do! My coach explained it like lacrosse and soccer so I could know my position."
