Quakers drop double overtime match at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa. — The Earlham College men’s soccer team battled into a second overtime period, but it wasn’t enough as Allegheny College defeated the Quakers 2-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference opener for both squads.

With Allegheny scoring 57 seconds into the match, the Quakers trailed until 64:00 of the second half when Victor Anciano (San Antonio-Altos, Venezuela/Armand Hammer) tied the contest on a penalty kick. Allegheny posted the final score of the game at 104:54.

Earlham (2-8, 0-2) is at Manchester College on Wednesday. The non-conference match starts at 4 p.m. Box score
