Jonathan Taylor (1763-1831) was a prominent Orthodox Friend of Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, a recorded minister and clerk of Ohio Yearly Meeting at the time of the Hicksite separation. This collection consists of a sketch of Jonathan Taylor and his wife, Ann (Schofield) Taylor (1765-1862), and deeds and legal papers. Probably acquired by Harlow Lindley.
Documents relating to the family of Thomas Scattergood Teas (1792-1850) and wife Sarah (Stratton) Teas (1800-1871) of Union and Henry Counties, Ind. They consist of genealogical material, photographs, and reminiscences of Edward Young Teas (1830-1918) of Richmond. Photocopies; gift of Caswell Grave, 1992.
Amos Thomas (1832-1916) and wife Nancy (Newby) Thomas (1830-1908) were Friends living near Fairmont, Grant County, Ind. This collection consists of reminiscences of family members.
Earl A. Thomas (1900-1927) was a Richmond, Ind. resident and onetime member of First Friends Meeting there who served as a US Naval Aviator during the US intervention in Nicaragua in 1927. He apparently was killed by Sandino forces. The collection consists of four letters by Earl Thomas to his mother Gertrude Thomas of Richmond, June 11-September 20, 1927, with newspaper clippings and correspondence relating to his death. Francis W. Thomas (1823-1909) was a Quaker minister and farmer of Henry County, Ind. The Thomas Papers consist of diaries, 1863-1868, correspondence, and miscellaneous writings largely on religious matters.
William B. Thompson (1813- ) was a Friend from Orange County, North Carolina, who settled near Monrovia, Morgan County, Ind. in 1844. Later in life he became a Methodist. The collection consists of a typescript of his autobiography, with information on family history, his early life and education, travel, and his impressions of slavery. Gift of W. Willis Thompson, 1974.
The Embree-Thorn Papers consist of letters, essays, wills, deeds, and other documents from two Quaker families in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio, mainly between 1774 and 1860. They reflect the westward movement, anti-slavery activities, and business dealings of Friends. Most of the papers pertain to Thomas Embree (1755-1833) and his son-in-law William Thorn (1781-1853) of Green Plain Meeting, Ohio. Finding aid.

Oliver M. Thornburg (1852-1938) was a Hicksite Friend and farmer who lived near Milton, Ind. His papers consist of letters to him and to his father Milton Thornburg (1811-1892) as well as to an unidentified sister of Oliver from relatives in Iowa and Montgomery County, Ind. Photocopies.

Joseph Tomlinson (1778-1820) was a Friend who moved with his family from Randolph County, North Carolina, to Orange County, Indiana, in 1818. This notebook contains a family record, a copy of marriage certificate to Jemima Bray, and a diary of their trip from North Carolina to Indiana. Gift of Chris McFall, 2000.

R. Furnas Trueblood (1898-1987) was a Quaker pastor in New England, New York, California, Western and Indiana yearly meetings. He served at West Richmond Meeting in Indiana from 1939 to 1965. This collection consists largely of sermon notes and outlines, with scattered correspondence, lecture notes, reports, a funeral register, and a brief devotional diary. The Henley-Trueblood Collection consists of photographs, daguerreotypes, and other images of nineteenth-century Quakers, largely in Washington and Rush counties, Ind. Most are related to Edwin P. Trueblood (1861-1951), longtime Earlham faculty member, and his wife Pennina (Henley) Trueblood (1863-1943).
Newton Albertson Trueblood (1834-1895) was a businessman and active Friend in Kokomo and Raysville, Indiana. This collection consists of a volume of essays, some dated 1850-1857, some undated, written while Trueblood was a student at the Blue River Friends Seminary in Washington County, Indiana, and at Friends Boarding School. Thomas Hollowell Trueblood (1826-1907) was a Hicksite Friend of Blue River Monthly Meeting, Washington County, Indiana. This collection consists of a journal of Trueblood's travels in 1849 with the minister Priscilla Cadwalader. Gift of Margaret E. Trueblood, 2000.

Paul O. Turner (1910-2001) was a Quaker accountant and executive who served on the faculty of Earlham College and the staff of the American Friends Service Committee. This collection of papers reflects his career and his work with his wife, Marie (Thompson) Turner, in Quaker affairs from the 1930s to the 1980s. Gift of Paul and Marie Turner, 1994.
