
Tara Wickramasekera started working in the Office of Institutional Research in 2009. She majored in International Studies and minored in Economics. Tara grew up in Sri Lanka and went to high school in Italy. Tara's interests include playing music, piano, saxophone and singing. She participated in Earlham Rhythm Project and Gospel Revelations. Tara was also an active member of the Asian Student Union and taught English at Amigos, a community center for the local immigrant population. Tara conducted phone interviews, collected data of students who applied to Earlham and students who were admitted to Earlham College but decided to enroll elsewhere. Tara wrote reports summarizing the findings; drew conclusions and made suggestions for future improvements. She also researched and collected data about diversity and fellowship opportunities at Earlham and wrote a summary of data collected on retention at Earlham College. |
